It’s been coming a long time… Flash back to 2008, when “Incredible Hulk” rebooted the big green monster after Ang Lee’s misfire, and “Iron Man” breathed new life and energy into the superhero movie after “Spiderman 3″ and “X-Men 3″ had sucked all life out of the genre. Drive
One of the best, most stylish films of the year - even if I didn't like the ending. Read my full review here.

    In Time
Justin Timberlake in a near future dystopia. Read my full review here.

    The Thing
Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) stars in a prequel to the '82 Carpenter horror flick with the same title (which was itself a remake of the 1951 "Thing From Another World"). From the reviews, it sounds like, it compares favorably to most horror movies coming out these days, but not so favorably against its original and the classic era of '80s horror it pays tribute to.

    The Big Year
Jack Black, Steve Martin, and Owen Wison. If you're going to see this, it's because those names get it done for you. If they don't, I don't think there's much else here to recommend it. It's about bird watching, it looks a lot like "The Bucket List," it got mediocre reviews…yeah.

    Dream House
Daniel Craig plays a husband and father who discovers that he's moved his family into a house that is haunted by a grisly murder -- and the murderer just might've been himself. This one also got pretty terrible press. (Aspiring screenwriters take note: the I"m the good guy…and also the bad guy" trope is all played out.)

    The Double
Richard Gere plays a CIA agent chasing a Soviet killer who turns out to be himself, via multiple personality disorder (that's not a spoiler - it's all in the trailer.) Topher Grace co-stars, and the word this was tired, uninspired and predictable.
